Mode of Action

PeraCrop Max acts via a combination of oxidation (REDOX) and pH modes. Its application is suitable for agricultural field crops, broad hectare crops and non-food crops.

The diseases targeted by Peracrop Max include:

Botrytis (grey mould) is one of the most common fungal diseases of fruit and vegetable crops and can affect plants at most stages of production. Cool weather with heavy dew or fog favours infection. Botrytis also causes secondary rots on fruit and vegetables in storage or transit and in the marketplace.

Powdery Mildew is a fungus that can attack petioles, leaves, flower, calyxes, fruit stalks and fruit. Dry weather, high-humidity conditions, and temperatures between 15°C and 27°C favour disease development.

White blister is a plant fungal disease that affects brassica crops.

White blister can cause economic losses due to damage to broccoli heads and leafy brassicas thus reducing market value, reducing production windows and slowing crop growth.

This fungus most commonly causes damping-off of seedlings, root and stem rots, stem cankers and fruit rot. The diseases often have common names that describe symptoms on the particular host, for example base rot of lettuce, black scurf of potato tubers, crater rot of beetroot, and wire stem of tomato and crucifer seedlings. Fruit growing near the ground can be infected, developing firm, water-soaked areas that become sunken and often crack open.

Several fungal species affect different crops to produce similar symptoms, all known as downy mildew. In moist weather, a white downy fungal growth develops on the underside of the leaf.

Spots turn brown and dead areas develop.

Also called onion leaf blight. The first symptoms appear as small white wounds on the leaf surrounded by a greenish halo. The wounds expand and many new wounds appear that cause premature die-back of leaves.

This pathogen can survive for long periods in the soil (greater than 10 years). The pathogen is both seed tuber and soil borne. The disease can cause major losses of marketable yield from fresh market potato crops, and substantial rejections in processing for french fries or crisp production. Tubers with powdery scab lesions are also susceptible to other diseases.

Cercospora leaf spot is a common disease in beetroot and silver beet. It may be a significant problem in crops grown for baby-leaf production, because the foliage is the saleable product.

Post application, PeraCrop Max chemically converts to air and water. It is completely bio-degradable with no ongoing chemical residue.

Kills in 24 Hours

PeraCrop Max is formulated for fast action on contact.

Reacts Then Biodegrades

Following application, PeraCrop Max hydrolyses to oxygen and water.

One Day Withholding

PeraCrop Max has APVMA approval to harvest one day after application.
